Aggression/Safety Concerns

The Northern Collar Club can terminate this contract if the pet becomes a threat for safety reasons such as aggression. The Northern Collar Club will contact the owner if the pet displays any aggressive behaviours. The Northern Collar Club reserves the right to refuse service to any client, at anytime, for any reason.

Vaccinations

All dogs who participate in group walks must be up to date on vaccinations.

If a dog contracts an ailment or disease due to another unvaccinated dog, it will the responsibility of the owner’s unvaccinated dog to pay all costs and damages incurred by the sick dog. I understand that regular vaccinations cannot completely stop against some diseases or illnesses. The Northern Collar Club cannot prevent or held responsible for any illnesses the pet contracts.

 

Spay & Neuter

All dogs that join our group walking program must be spayed or neutered. However, this is not necessary for other services!

Owner’s Property

All pets who are let outside are supervised. However, the dog owner must understand and agree that pets who have access to a fenced in outside area that is not properly maintained, assume full liability should the pet escape.

Weather

Walks take place rain, shine or snow. However due to our severe weather (-25 Degrees or colder) Only 20 minute intervals will be scheduled, unless it is a dog that can withstand cold northern temperatures.*

Dirty Dogs

Since The Northern Collar Club operates rain or shine under normal weather conditions; The Northern Collar Club would like to know where to return a dog that is wet or dirty. We will try to dry the dog as best we can. However if there is a designated area or crate please inform myself during the consultation appointment.

Photography

By initialing below you give Christine Gorman owner of The Northern Collar club permission to publish or print, electronic or video format the likeness or image of your pet.

Emergencies

If there is an emergency I will make all reasonable efforts to first contact the pet owner. If the owner is unable to be contacted, The Northern Collar Club will then contact your emergency contact and if unsuccessful the veterinarian will be contacted.

 

Cancellation Policy

24 hour notice must be given for cancelled service request. More than two cancellations with no notice, or no show will disqualify the pet from further services.
