The Northern Collar Club started in 2019 with a simple belief — that the best thing we can do for our dogs is build a better relationship with them, so we can do more of life together.
Does it take work? Absolutely. But it is the kind of work that turns walks into adventures, commands into conversation, and a dog into a true partner.
And the people who love them deserve a community that believes the same thing — and is right there doing the work alongside you.

Hi. I'm Christine.
I built the dog community I wanted to exist.
I founded The Northern Collar Club in 2019. My approach is real-world — communication, confidence, neutrality, relationships, and giving dogs opportunities to actually experience life.
TNCC has grown through years of hands-on work with dogs and their owners — structured adventures, training programs, and spaces where people can learn without feeling judged because their dog isn't perfect.

“Our Cali girl LOVES Christine at The Northern Collar Club! If she could talk, she would say .. At first I was a little hesitant of this stranger coming in to my home to meet me, I barked so much. I was a little scared but she brought some treats and was very patient and kind with me. Once I felt comfortable, she brought me for a car ride with another friendly dog and started my first walk. I made a friend that day and I came home to tell mom and dad all about it cause I was so happy! The next week I was picked up again and got even more comfortable with my new dog walker and met even more friends who have all the high energy that I have, I love my friends! One day on a walk, a scab on my ear came off during play and I started bleeding all over but I knew I was okay because Christine bandaged me all up and took care of me until my mom came home. Christine even messaged my mom and offered some more bandages for my ear and made sure I was okay several days later. I've been going on walks with Christine for almost a year now and I enjoy going on adventures with all my friends. On Wednesdays I lay by the door waiting for Christine. Is it Wednesday yet mom and dad!!? Christine is very knowledgeable when it comes to animals and a person that I trust whole heartedly with my Cali ❤️”

“Christine is amazing!! I was training my husky puppy for several months on my own and after talking to Christine at the Pet Expo in April, I signed up for her training classes and walking club. She's helped me to fine tune what I was already doing and helped me to guide him in the right direction. He still has things to work on and I'm looking forward to continuing to work on those things with him but there's been such a huge improvement since we adopted him. The staff at Canadian Tire have even noticed the difference in him since I started bringing him in daily for walks when it was too cold (for me) in the winter and too hot for him outside in the summer 🐶”
